 James grew up on both coasts of the US. Graduated High School in NH and then the UMaine with baccalaureate degrees in Business Management & Marketing (minor: music). Has performed internationally in many music groups and a martial artist since 1998. He is the Development Director for Trinity Catholic School in Lewiston, ME; Vice President Online Course Search, LLC in Arizona; Partner Demeter Development Group in Washington. |

 Optec Industries was founded in early 2002 as a way of marketing the website and photography ventures of James Wieland. Since then it has expanded to other projects.
